Default Will these fit without a level? Help please

I'm thinking of getting a new set of rims for my 09 4x4 f-150... I'm not sure what size of tire I could put on these without major rubbing? I don't mind if I have to trim plastic? Would there be any other rubbing other then maybe plastic?

I'm assuming I wouldn't be able to go passed a 285? Maybe even a 275?

If anyone has any experience with this set of rims without a level please let me know. I appreciate the help.

Anyone? I'm wanting to purchase them tonight so I can get them by wednesday.. However I'm just not sure on what setup I can run without a level. Idk if the offset will make a difference in rubbing?

Check https://www.f150forum.com/f38/tire-w...8155/index435/, there is someone running 20x10 rims with a -24 offset plus leveling that needed to trim. You could use a tire size comparison website to see what 18 inch tires would give the same diameter and width. Hope that helps!

The high negative offset will cause a difference in rubbing. Here's a truck with 285/65/18. I'm sure if you found some 285/60/18 it wouldn't rub, as it comes to about 31.5"x11.2" https://www.customwheeloffset.com/wh...ck-custom-rims

Thanks! I'm thinking I'm gonna do the 285/65 I don't mind doing some plastic trimming. Curious if anyone on here is running that setup. None the less Im gonna do a little more searching to make sure those are the rims I want but I'm pretty sure I'm gonna pull the trigger on them.

in the sticky thread for "will it fit" there is a link to a PDF that shows basically every tire size and lift height and wheel option and whether they fit or rub.

Yeah I'm just curious if it would on a 295s with 18s. I see people running 285s with having to do some trimming. I'm wondering if I can still get away with 295s with trimming or if it's to big. I know I couldn't do 305s without a level..
