It's those small ones that get you (every time).

I would find out if that is legal to be there without a light post on it and it is sticking into the roadway some. I know its painted yellow but that would irk me!

I couldn't put a definite number to the speed, 5-7mph? There wasn't a lot of room for me to be turning and moving fast. That's how it hit the doors, I turned into it.

As for smoking, nothing. That pole is maybe 30 inches tall.

And no police invovled. I highly highly doubt the parking lot owners would give two ***** their pole lost 1/4 pound concrete, and no other property damage other than my own. No one hurt. So why bother the police when they're likely not to bother coming. I called Geico from right there and they started the claim.

Surely you jest. All the 'buffing' in the world, will never replace missing paint.
X 1000000. Crappy deal, brother. I know I'd want to drink a liter of bleach if I did that to my truck. Not that I am suggesting!

In Canada if the damage is over 2000 you HAVE to make a police report. It stops a lot of hit and runs.

That's a weird one. How do you know if the damage is over $2000 when something happens? And how does that affect a hit & runs? Damage is over $2000, wait, I gotta stay?

Well you take your truck to the body shop or the insurance adjustor estimates the damage. The police dont come tho you have to go down the the cop shop and fill out a report.
