EDIT: I just realised the grab handle looks somewhat like a 03 model:

I don`t know why I'm so unwilling to believe this is the next-gen F150... I guess i just can't stand the thought of them taking a truck that looks so good right now, and making it look like... this??
I think It's to throw off the competition. It's a dummy. Not the real test.

I say let them have it... i believe that the customers who purchase a eco within the first three years of that motor being "born".... Are the ones who are the guinney pigs and grandfathers to that motor. Theyre the guys who are going to "iron out" the bugs for the rest of us in the next body style.

In short, theyre setting the bench mark for chevy and dodge. How? By introducing a motor NOW... And then marry it to a truck, rather than redesign a truck... AND THEN try to sucessfully marry a new motor to it. On one side, youve got old tech in a new truck(dodge) vs. (ford) a new motor In a old truck. I know id wait a year or two after the new body style. That will give a eco 5years to prove itsself and by then guys who were the guinney pigs... Will hat the gen 1 eco so much, theyll have to have a gen 2.... (Im happy with what Ive got, and so is my gf)

Remember, dodge had to redesign the front end of the 1994 style so the cummins would properly fit?

Looks like they havent learned anything from that.
