Brand new 13 with MFT/Synch. In the garage, tried to add a WIFI access points in the house. My security passphase on the WIFI access point contains the number 0 so you can see from the picture my issue. Any ideas?






p.s. This MFT seems buggy. For about an hour last night it kept asking for the factory keypad door unlock code. I put it in over and and over and it would not take it even though the door pad opened fine with the code (the one on the card in the glovebox). Today it took it first try and allowed me to enter a new one.

I have the same issue, except when i try to enter in my wifi password i can only enter numbers. All the letters are grayed out and I cant select any letters. Seems like a bug.

Your issue happened to me yesterday. All the letters were greyed out and today they showed up.

Have you guys tried to connect to an iPhone with the hotspot features? Or other smart phones, I'm not too familiar with the functions of other phones.
Just a suggestion, I'd try it out if I had MFT.

If I change my Iphone's Hotspot to a password that does not have grey characters in it, it will connect. However, in practice we will have no control over what passwords we need to connect to. There is definitely a bug. I cant see myself using this feature much, but given the cost of this truck I expect everything to work.

Called the dealer. They said they duplicated issue on another new truck. Waiting to hear back from them on fix.

Just bought new 2013 do you guys notice the screen on back up camera is little dull comapred to the older Sync versions before MFT version?

This is my first Ford so I cant comment. I can say the backup camera is nicer than what was on my Jeep, but I do notice it fogs up and gets blurred a lot easier in the rain.

FYI - Ford dealer told me that Ford is aware of this issue but have no ETA on software update to fix it.

I am shocked they are letting all the truck off the line and they know this is an issue. They can duplicate on trucks sitting on the lot. I wished I had tried this feature before I took delivery. No way I would have handed over 43k knowing a feature I was planning to use was broke with no fix avail.

What is the purpose of connecting MFT to my phones wifi hot spot? What functionality will it provide?
