There's every few in any that will say the 5.0 does not sound better but if she thinks the 5.0 has more power it sounds to me like she's a lead foot. You have to get the revs up to make that kind of statement because otherwise the turbos make considerable more torque at light throttle than the 5.0. I know because I've driven both on long drives because my brother has the eco in his FX4.

She will adjust like it did me back when I had to go from driving my personal truck to my old 5.0L company truck after a week vacation. The 5.0 felt so slow because I was accustomed to going faster with the amount of pressure my foot was applying to the throttle and had to give it more to accelerate normally like I was used to in my EB. It was not that the 5.0 is slow by any means, just a different animal than the EB on when they get their power. It all boils down to that fact that you get custom to certain things and you really notice when it is not how you are used to.
I think she will be fine with her 3.5L after a week of driving it. After all, with a 0-60 in the mid 5s and a 1/8 in the upper 8s, that thing is no slouch. If she does want to trade up then that's fine by me. She makes enough one her own to comfortably afford it and I probably wouldn't mind driving it more.

Decisions, decisions--I test drove them both--now do I go with the EB, or do I go with the 5.0????
