use this to try some different wheel/tire combos and find something that will extend about 2 inches...I'm not sure of the offset on those stock 18 in rims, but on my '12 platinum, they're +44 (8.5 in wide)...regardless though, I doubt you'll be able to get it with wider tires alone - you'll need a spacer and wider tires if you want to keep the stock rims, or go with rims with a lower offset and wider tires (preferred route as stated above).

you could use the stock wheels with 2" spacers, and 35x12.5 tires. Don't stress about spacers, if you buy good quality spacers, they are basically bulletproof. I have had some type of spacers on almost all of my trucks, and abused the heck out of them with zero issues. Torque them to no more than 100llb's and check them every tire rotation. Don't let people scare you into not using spacers.

Good Tires shops might let you test fit some 305's to see how they look...then go from there.

i got the same problem, i have a 2.5 in. leveling kit on 35x12.5 with stock rims so i had to buy 1/4 in. spacers which was around 48 bucks for all 4. they stick out a lil but not what id like. i want em flush or almost flush with my 2" pocket style flares. it still looks a little goofy from the front but from the side it looks good. if i was you id wait and buy aftermarket rims. dont waste too much on spacers. im gettin 18x9 mamba m3's with a -6 offset and from what ive asked around and learned theyll stick out 2-2.5 inches with my 35x12.5 mud grapplers.

What are good spacers to be considered? The 40mm Billet Wheel Spacer Kit hub-centric 6x135 are approximately $800. Expensive?

Looks sweet! However try to go with rims with a lower offset as per the advice recieved.
