Looking to improve the exhaust tone just a tad. I think I've pretty much narrowed it down to one of the quietest Magnaflows (5x8x24 or 5x11x22) or just leaving it stock. I've literally read, searched, and listened to vids until my eyes hurt. Not a lot out there on the 22 and 24" Maggies. Will definitely be leaving the stock resonator on. If you're running either of these, let me know what you think of it compared to stock as far as tone, volume, and drone. Thanks!

I have a Magnaflow Model #12289. It is 3" in/out, center on one end off set on the other. Not sure what length it is. Magnaflow web site should tell you. I kept OEM resonator and love it.
Mellow at idle, deep rumble under acceleration, quite cruising in town. No drone to me at all. Best price I found was on Amazon. Cost me $40 to cut off old one & weld in. Installer added new rods welded to muffler and inserted in OEM rubber hangers.

Thanks for your input. Exactly what I was looking for. Magnaflow's site shows that your's is the 5x8x24. I've been wondering what the difference would be between that size and the 5x11x22 which is wider but shorter.

Anyone else rocking a 22 or 24"?

I had the 22in magnaflow on my 2010 sounded great. Had the 24in on my 5.0 it droned like crazy. I would get the 22in magnaflow
