He messaged me back and said the the LED's themselves should be at 3 and 9 oclock. That's exactly where mine are at; side (3) to side (9).

Well I went ahead and bought a mid-range set off Amazon, (around $60) and holy moly they are awesome! Bright, white, and light up the road like crazy with the brights on. AAAAAnd YES, the DRLs do work just fine, and they look way nice during the day with the white light. Very satisfied.
what are the specific ones from amazon you got and are happy with??? I'd love to know.

Thank you

I don't know which ones he got but I can only recommend the JDMAstars on amazon. They use a shield on the low beam LED. Look for LED bulbs with a low beam shield and an adjustable base.

Tried to private message you but it's saying its full. Here was my message. I see by your signature you're running a canned tune from SCT. I'm buying one soon for my Ecoboost. What tune are you running? Big difference in hp and tq? How many miles tuned so far? Any issues? Do I need to do anything specific when I put mine on? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just excited.

Sorry to the OP, it wouldn't let me send a private message.

I had a set of putco silver lux installed on my 2014 f150. They had the shields on the low beam light and we're adjustable. I rotated them and I could never get them to get the distance my factory halogens did. They lit up better up close but the light just couldn't reach out. I never got flashed a whole lot but maybe 4 times in a month that I had them in. I did end up going back to the halogen, I honestly like the soft white color from the halogens better. Maybe cause I'm so used to it from all the years of having halogens. My wife's edge has projectors and they reach out nice, but I honestly cant see myself spending the money to do a retrofit after dishing out 250 bucks in heads and fogs that I won't be using again. Just my 2 cents.
