My wife wont let me get a Harley, so I settle for a foxbody Mustang and these.

I used to have VN900 Custom, and put a lot of miles on that bike. Rode it all over the Eastern US, Southern US, AND Midwest. The one thing that turned my bike from a torture device into a semi-bearable ride was a Mustang Touring seat. Without that, it tore the a - well, it hurt. That seat made a LOT of difference.

My Ol Lady has a VN900 Classic for her backup bike, and she has the same seat. Without that seat, it's just as awful (Same suspension and frame. Just has floorboards and heel-toe shifter, different bars, etc). Very reliable, but just not built for the long trips.

My Ol Lady agreed, and got herself a Road King as well. Without any seat mods, you can ride tank to tank without any issues.
