Here at my place a group of punks sliced 23 tires in the area one night. The police were impressive. Came out, took fingerprints, picked up cigarette butts and ask if they belonged to the homeowners. They caught the group and prosecuted them.
I was very surprised because at my previous home in Anaheim I had cars vandalized and stolen. The police there would take info over the phone but would not come to the house.

That's how the police are here. They wouldn't bother coming out. I've been thinking of getting a camera for that side of the house. My truck didn't get messed with last night or Saturday night. It was just Friday into Saturday.

Hell, go with the season and scare the crap out of the little ****heads.

You and a couple buddies dressed up in these outfits coming from around a dark corner out to crash them out enough that they never do it again.

I bought one of these for Halloween this year. We live in the country, and all the houses are far apart. So the neighbors all get together and have a big party and the kids are taken around on hayrides for trick or testing. I'm going to be running across the street when each hayride comes through the dark area at the creek low water crossing. It's almost completely dark. The plan is to run up to the kids, then run off to the other side to give all the kids a fright.

Pissed me right off and ruined the day for me. Where I live is a lake community and these tool bags decide that the last engagement they do every year for the inconsiderate and rude summer people is hold Mischief Night the first Friday night of October and Halloween the first Saturday of October. So, the little bastards go out and damage property. Smash windows, break into things and for some ****ed up reason every god damned year the little derelicts decide to throw some sort of condiment or necessity on my vehicles. One year it was my work van; which I don't care about but this year it was my brand new 2013 F-150.

What did they do? Took a tube of toothpaste and drew all over my hood. I spent the morning washing the hood off in hopes that it wasn't on there long enough to do damage to the clear coat. Last time I washed the truck I put two coats of Collinite 845 on it, so hopefully that protected it. After that I went on with my regular errands and my project but I was/am, still pissed off. Tomorrow I'll spend the day washing the whole truck and waxing it.

Sorry there are no pictures as I cleaned it off immediately after discovering the vandalism.

OK, it does suck when someone messes up your stuff like that. BUT!!!! Let me get this straight, they wrote on your hood with toothpaste, it washed off and there's no damage...........is that right?

AND, you let it ruin your whole day?

I'm glad your truck wasn't hurt.......does the term being a big baby come to mind?

paintball gun + gobstoppers...or let the paintballs slush up in the freezer a bit (...not to be take seriously, that could really mess someone up but its tempting)

Get a buddy and camp out with a couple beers next year and cause your own mayhem

Man o man I had some friends vandalize my truck with silly string once. Destroyed all the clear-coats it hit.. paint and wheels. So for future reference to anyone out there, if you get silly stringed, you better clean it off ASAP.

I have a motion sensor like the one posted above and its really amazing. I use it for coyotes and it doesn't make any noise unless something walks in front of it then it beeps and flashes. They would have no idea it went off and you could sneak out and confront them. This is the one I use and it works like a champ, called Buck Alert.

Truck is three months old. I worked hard to buy it. I work hard to pay the bill every month. I keep it clean. I wash it. I take care of it. I appreciate it. So yes, I was pissed off all day because someone ****ed with MY property. If being upset that someone ****ed with my stuff makes me a baby then I'm a baby.

Damage to the paint is not the issue, the fact toothpaste was spread on the truck is the issue. Its that people, regardless of age or income level, do not respect others property or simply do not care. This cost time and money to others. Perhaps Chrisj would like to park his truck outside, give out the address so someone can spread toothpaste on the hood. Then in the morning he can cheerfully clean it off while sipping on the morning coffee (or drink of choice)
