Yes I have compensated for the speedometer error and checked its accuracy with GPS. It's dead on.
So from the way it sounds, I lost around 2 - 3 mpg.

Just pulled out 27 foot camper that weighs 4500 empty to Florida from kentucky. Locked out 6 gear ran between 60-70 pulled fine did loose a lot up hill though. It's the 5.0 with 3.55 and stock tires. Averaged 10.3 mpg. Did kick in and out of 4 th a few times.

Thanks for all you guys help. Yesterday we bought a keystone bullet premier 31BH, 6500# dry. My truck comes out of the diff shop tomorrow with a new set of 4.10s in it.

Your truck is rated at 7900 pounds. I have the same truck with 3.55's mine is rated at 8,300 pounds. If I buy a TT I'd try to keep it no more than 7,000 pounds. I am not a fan of pushing tow limits. With 3.31's I'd lock out both 5th & 6th on the highway to keep the RPM's in the torque band better. I made sure I got the best gears available when I bought mine, with LS, just in case.
