Yeah, actually called Allstate right after I posted and was told they're lifting the moratorium at 8AM tomorrow. They have all my info and salesman told me the truck is washed and inside tonight, so unless something else crazy happens before now and then, knock on wood, I may finally get a glimpse at the Lariat I started putting together 5-6 months ago.

Well, looks like I spoke too soon. Wife just came in from work. She works for an Infiniti dealer owned by the same people as my Ford dealer next door which gets us our new vehicles at cost. When she talked to my salesman for the employee deal, it turns out NJ has a new temp tag system which is somehow shut down due to the storm. I can't switch my old tags cause I own my trade in and the new truck is a lease. I'm starting to think my old faithful trade in just don't want to leave and somehow may just be behind all this bullsh*t. Oh Well, stay tuned Kidz!

Well, the ETA for my truck changed.........
It got moved up a day!
Now it's Nov 4th. I still won't pick it up until the 9th, though.
My dad got some bad news on his Limited. His build date got pushed back from Nov 5th to Nov 7th. The good news is that the ETA hasn't changed, so the build date slipping isn't really important. And this morning, he has a window sticker available. He doesn't know it yet, but I sent it to him in an email so his day starts off good when he gets to work.

Well went to order my 2012 months ago only to find out I was a day too late. So ordered my 13 with the new HIDs, grille, tow mirrors, dash, etc. as soon as they would let me. Was given a $10,000 trade in price when I went to order the 12 when my truck was 3 months dirty and filled with dog hair. My salesman was fired in the meantime and I had to get another trade in appraisal for new salesman as they lost my original. Cleaned the truck good this time and they only offered me $8700, wasted a day of cleaning, musta uncovered some dents or something.
Finally my 13 came in last Wed. a week or two past my eta date. They needed a couple days to get my Leer cap and the dealer Ambient lighting hooked up, no biggie. Now this bitch Sandy comes to town and closes down the dealership for two days. Today, I get the call from my dealer and he says all we have to do is wash it and get your insurance hooked up and you can pick it up at 4pm. They want to make sure I get it by the end of the month, a quota thing. When he called All State, my insurance co, They have a temp hold on writing any new policies or even switching vehicles with this Sandy thing going on and the dealer can't let it go til it's settled. What's next? Startin to feel like a Flea.
