I'm also in the same boat! 2013 lariat loaded 6.5 bed ordered end of June. I was told by my dealer Ford is having allocation problems and I should have my vin next week we will see!

" hopefully next week". I have heard that same thing for so long, I am numb to it. I should try that when a payment is due.... :-). I am sure that will go over well.

I agree with you! For me, this will save time and effort getting it in a Line-X shop; it will be done, when delivered.

I only wish I could order the Toyo A/T's from the factory too!!

Dealer called this afternoon and my 13 Lariat EcoBoost is in. Gotta take off my wheels, HIDS and other accessories this weekend. Gonna go pick it up Monday night after work. Ordered July 17. Took an extra week due to getting the factory spray in bed liner.

Funny, I have owned trucks for 30 years and had to pull plugs and the beds a few times. But you are correct that most people would not. My dealer does have a deal with the local LineX dealer to get the bed done for 350, before I even pick it up.

You four amigos are getting hosed. I ordered three weeks ago and I got a vin. Is your dealer a small volume dealer? Wait, that wouldn't make sense either. My Dad ordered his two and a half weeks ago and he has a vin, from a dealer that only has about 8 trucks on his lot.

I think it depends on the type of truck, I know at least most of these are platinum and limited. And only built in Dearborn. They ran dealer stock orders first.c At least that's the only reason that makes any sense
