There has been a bunch of love for Truxedo in this thread, but it appears as though all of the ones mentioned are the roll-up covers rather than the tri-fold covers. Are there any pros and cons for one style over the other or is it just personal preference? I'm in the market just like the original poster.

I bought the Ford soft roll up cover I got it for $299 at the dealer, list is $379 I believe. I previously had 2 different extang covers and this one is so much better and it has a ford logo embossed in the back with full dealer waranty . Also it's the same as the truxedo truxsport.

For me, I like having the ability to see out the back window when the cover is rolled up. At least twice a week I have my mountain bike loaded in the bed via a fork mount (bike's upright) and it's nice not having the view obstructed. You cannot get that with the tri folds b/c when they're open they rest vertically against the cab.
I put bikes in my truck bed fairly frequently too. The Trifecta doesn't store vertically. I just fold it up and take it off my truck. I can then either leave it at home, or stick it in the bed alongside my bikes. It comes off in less than 30 seconds, and back on in under a minute without tools.
My only issue with the Trifecta is that I had the back part "flutter" (start to lift off the bed) a few times when driving in very high crosswinds in North Dakota and eastern Montana. I fixed that with some rope between the bed's rear two tiedown points and the aluminum frame under the Trifecta cover.
No I don't have Extang stock! I do think their Trifecta top strikes a very nice balance between cost, weather protection, weight, and installation effort.

I have the Access Vanish Tonneau Cover and as mentioned I like being able to see out the back when it's rolled up. Also, it is locked with the tailgate instead of a separate lock/key. I didn't notice when I bought it, but it doesn't cover the holes in the bed rails used for other accessories which was nice when I wanted to add the Putco Side Bed Rails.
