who here has disconnected the BMS sensor
trying to sort thru all the info on the BMS and changing and charging the battery,,,and relearn issues...my question is this
my truck sits more than its driven, I believe my battery needs replacing now...I have a tender for the new battery...
1) use the tender ? hook the net lead to a ground other than the neg battery post ??
2) what brand battery to buy ?
3) disconnect the sensor ?? Any issues IF I do this ?
4) and if I unplug I can then charge the battery using both pos and neg posts ?
thank you
Will they replace battery under CPO warranty ??

My truck sits a lot. I drive my car to work every 3rd day. I try to drive the truck on my days off but it really doesn't move. I have the BMS unhooked.

Did you just unplug the sensor by the neg cable ?? Any issues with things not working or throwing a light in the dash like a CEL etc ?

I unplugged mine long ago. You will never know anything is wrong as the system will not throw any warning lights or buzzers, the only thing it will do is set a code in the system for lack of bms signal.
Disconnect it and drive worry free.

You seem to be overreacting quite a bit. You haven't tested the battery, you're posting thread after thread on this issue.
Simply get a battery tender, hook it up to the battery, and plug it in. No need to disconnect anything as it will be sitting for months trickle charging away.

i did load test and battery is bad
i ordered the render, I removed the sensor
i may just put the tender on this battery and get the new one in spring
