Not really that flat. From about sea level to over 4,000' more than once.
10' flat bed trailer that probably weighs about 800lbs or less.
EB 2 wheel drive. 17" tires. 3.55 rear end. Cruise set at 60. Cruise off going downhill so at times I was up above 65mph with no throttle.
When I got to Baker, CA the avg mpg read 25.7. When I pulled into Primm Valley it was at 23.7. Long climb.
The truck has always given exceptional mileage. But I don't drive over 65 except on very long trips. It'll do 28.3 going from Escondido to LA.
But it's not all that good in town. I'll see it drop quickly when I do city driving, especially if I don't pay attention to my throttle use.
Two weeks ago I did a business trip to Denver. North on the 15 and then east on the 70. Did the speed limit just about everywhere. Freeways were 65 to 80. Some Colorado mountain roads were as low as 35.
When I pulled into Denver on the second day the reading was 22.7.

I didn't read the replies but here's my response; The computer needs to "learn" what's going on before it's accurate. The first time I ran mine low it said 22 miles to empty but I was 55 miles to the next gas station. I went over a hill and then it read 78 (or something right around there) miles to empty. I made it to the gas station. It went back a forth a little bit and did that the first few times, but hasn't done that in a long time. I wouldn't worry about it yet, just keep the receipts if you're really worried about it and take pictures of the odo.

I wasn't there so I cannot really ague BUT you have by FAR the highest mileage claims on here!
Just reading hundreds of other threads on here that have crappy mileage or at best right around the 20 mark, makes pretty unbelievable.

When I bought my '13 EB I made it clear that the 36gal tank had to be included. I was told that it was standard for the EB trucks starting in '13. Optional for the '12 (which I was also looking at).

there is no way you put 25.8 gallons in a 26 gallon tank with out your truck sputtering and coughing as you pulled into the gas station. You have the 36 gallon tank.
