I write iOS apps for a living I don't dare cross into Android territory, but maybe we can collaborate on some ideas?

An easy one might be 4 or 5 lane change blinker.
Or auto fold mirrors when ignition is off
Headlight and reverse lights on after remote unlock with timer

But these are SYNC apps from the way I understood it, not the pickup itself. If it is the pickup itself, that would be awesome. I'm sure a lot of people with OEM remote start would love an app to turn it on or off like some other brands have.

Ok, here we go. I have installed a tablet in the dash and want an app that will control the radio like the control module I took out so I don't have to relocate them or drag them out when I need them.

I posted about doing this in several threads, but no one seemed interested enough in having me write it, as it would be both hardware and software related. It would also require a decent amount of funds to prototype.

I wonder, if any of the ECM data makes it to sync? It would be cool if we could get engine data (boost guage!?) in an app without buyin an obdii reader too.

Must have missed it during searching and reading, did skip some pages. Have read alot on this and I'm to the point of controlling the radio from my laptop on a terminal screen using bluetooth to the dlc. Little tedious, typing minimum 10 characters to do one button press. Don't have all buttons correct but close. No, I'm not a programmer just put together what I read in different places and tried it, again and again till I figured it out. App development is greek to me so I'm lost there and the more I read the loster I seem to get.

How many buttons (functions) would be required for the hazard area buttons and radio buttons so they can be relocated? Trying to get an idea.
