Sounds like you'll have this winter under control. Dare I say, it's been pretty mild so far...

Shovel the snow from your walk way and drive way into the bed of your truck you gain weight for traction and clear snow out of your way plus when it warms up and you don't need the weight the snow melts out and you don't have to unload it like you do your sandbags

Well....I park in a heated garage so the snow I put into the back of my truck would end up a big puddle on the floor but that is a good idea if I do have to park outside for some reason.

I lived in wisconsin for many years. Used to put 500 lbs over axel. Made a frame of 2x8's to hold them in place. Worked very well. Won't need that in tennessee.

Also if you park outside in ak, you will need heaters, battery heater, oil, block, and tranny. Ask the neighbors. If your vehicle becomes cold saturated, it won't start. People north of the north slope don't shut them off during the cold weather. I know a state trooper in talkeetna and they just leave them run.
