They are actually on a small strip of plastic, with both a number and a UPC code (bar code) that can be scanned... I have 2 of them in my owners manual

I wasn't talking about the key pad the actual psychical key. The thing is I lost my spare tire lock and ordered a new one from ford. Now what I didnt know is the damn thing comes in peaces I was looking over the instructions and it say there's a "key depth" code for each station and tumbler in the key cylinder. Very complicated but after a couple of hours trying each tumbler to match my key I was able to get it. Buy thanks for the help guys

are you refering to the back wall of the cab?, the firewall?, what module?
I just bought this old repo and the column is jacked. Also no owners manual.
I just talked to a dealer and was told that they no longer have access to the codes for older models. Locksmith can cut keys to a code,but most don`t have access to the codes from a vin number. Would you suggest that I have a locksmith assemble my new cylinder to any old ford key.

Hi, can Anyone help me?
My 2010 F150 came without this card and without any Code.
Now I´m searching the computer module, where the code should be printed on.
But at the 2010 F150 it is not lokatet on the rear wall!
The problem is - I´m in Germany and here I can´t get this information.
