2014 5.0 SC...15K! I pulled the front pads and found the inner driver's side pad was basically falling apart. The rotor was now scorn which caused the shutter.

2011 ECO SC...32K front pads squealing and leaving massive dust, shuttering gets worse and now pulls to the right.

Light towing and mixed driving conditions.

I've come to the conclusion that Ford puts some crappy OEM pads on the F150...LOL

As far as brakes, I am in sales and drive quite a bit of highway..probably 75%. I also drive fairly conservative. That was until I bought a tuner and within 2000 miles of that blew the motor. No more tuners for this guy!
It may or may not be related... Did you data log?

Have 130k km on mine with original brakes. Might change the front next summer. I don't pull with it much and it'd be about half and half city highway.

Wanted to bump this thread and get some opinions on which setup to get. The 1st set i'm looking at is the Z23 complete set from stage3motorsports.

http://www.stage3motorsports.com/K31...-Lug-Only.html

2nd set is the carquest wearever rotors with the carquest Wearever Platinum Professional Ceramic Brake Pads from advance auto parts.

Price isn't a major factor but its hard to ignore the price difference. $459 plus shipping for stage3 and $272 for the carquest stuff. Has anyone used either and have some input? Thanks

I also was looking for brakes as I use my truck a lot for towing. I posted they are gouging the rotors at 49,000 miles.

I was looking into grooved and drilled rotors but keep hearing that they start to squeal or get noisy. Do your brakes do this? Any guarantee against it?
