Ya, I'd like to know as well.

One thing I don't like with these controls, is that a lot of times, the things don't quit flashing, until I return them to off, even after making a complete turn.

Same here. It took a while to get used to. I feel like that 90 year old man (my grandfather did this) that makes a left turn and never turns the signal light off.

I still miss the high beam button in the upper left side of the foot well. I still find myself clicking that imaginary button with my foot sometimes

Kind of surprised someone would rule out certain years because of a blinker (I know you decided to go newer anyway) but each their own. I know I love them. Seems like all vehicles should have this. Funny thing, I found out our Town & Country has it. We have had the van for over two years. Good luck with your search.

You could probably swap them out. If you're not going to put anything in the bed of the truck, why get one? I'd have a KR expedition if I didn't need a truck bed. I've found trucks to be great in snow...even better with a couple hundred pounds in the bed.

My 2010 doesn't do that. But the gmc savanna I drive for work does. I don't mind it.

Hook up a 28 foot travel trailer with the wiring for brakes and lights, and it will flash five times for the lane change feature.......someone at Ford was really thinking when they added this feature. It's one of the things that makes me smile a little every time we are towing.

Wish we could "select" 5 flash trailer mode for when my TT is not connected. Wonder if Ford could do a "flash" to upgrade to 5 blinks?

No doubt, gland they have more with a trailer but why not with out , just seems a little short with only 3 flashes.

Could you expand on "have-a-trailer-setting"? I found nothing in either the manual (3e) or in any related threads that describes this. Did you mean attaching something at the hitch that "fools" the system? I'd prefer to go to 5 blinks rather than 3.

2013 Plat 4x4 with factory TBC.

Thanks

I don't know if there has to be voltage/resistance in order for the truck to recognize that a TT is hooked up.....has anyone tried an unwired blank plug in the bumper socket to see if the PCM defaults to five blinks?
