Bought a wheelskins cover this week from www.dccarcare.com and im amaze at how good it looks, wanted to share. Pretty easy to install 1:30 is about it! the leather and lace is verry solid ive put it so tight the lace looks like it is embedded in the steering near the spokes. 1 mistake i have made is not cleaning the inside of the leather there is a pimple at the 6 position but it could have been worst. was hesitating about black/grey wheel but cannot go wrong with all black

It almost looks like you have factory installed leather.

You should DIY install some Katzkin now..

i got some cheap seat cover on ebay, i work in construction so i dont really wanna put expensive ones

I hate to resurrect an old thread, but I just bought the exact same Wheelskin for my 2013 F-150. Your installation job looks really professional...

Any words of wisdom or things you would do differently from the directions? I might try to put this on this weekend, but I thought I'd ask you for advice before I start.

I actually just had same cover from wheel skins done couple weeks ago. Like he said, make sure your wheel is clean and inside of cover doesn't have anything on it ( I had a small piece of lint on mine but I found it once I went to put on, would have made a small lump had I left it ) and follow the instructions, they were pretty easy, just takes a while to do. My wife installed mine in about an hour.

Thanks for the tips and a look at your installation. Based on what I've seen from your pictures and those from the OP, I'm going to be really happy with this cover. Just need to take my time and make sure everything is really clean before the installation.

For the record, I stumbled across these because I couldn't find any decent off-the shelf covers that would fit the 16" steering wheel of the F-150. I tried to install a couple of the 15 1/2" rated covers and felt like I was going to tear my steering wheel off.

If it doesn't look too bad after I'm done, I'll post some pictures of the finished product.

I appreciate the advice.
