Pros/Cons of 20s vs. 18s?
I like the looks of the 20s a little better. Truck will be on road almost exclusively. Towing duties are a 20ft bass boat, approx 3,500 lbs. The off road action will be fishing/hunting related. I usually behave myself when off roading
The 20s have a decent amount of sidewall, but I’m not sure how much of a difference feel/performance wise we are talking about.
Anyone have a ballpark on the cost difference for replacement tires?
If it matters I’m looking at 2013 FX4s.

5 years ago, 20" tires were astronomically more expensive than 18" tires. Today, there is only about a $100-$300 difference. The abundance of 20" rims these days have brought the prices more in line with each other.
That said, I personally chose 18" rims because that means that I have just that little bit more rubber between me and the road, resulting in a comfy-er ride than a 20" rim ride. I'm not sure HOW MUCH difference, quantitatively, smaller diameter rims make, but it makes me feel better.
