Yes a 6mm difference is less than a 1/4"

I was checking out your build thread, you've got a wicked KR!

Thank you kindly! Yes the difference would be basically undetectable, as the above poster mentioned.

I've always ran a +0 offset on my trucks which were just ever so slightly past the fenders, but I gotta say I'm a sucker for the -12s on our trucks.

Thanks for the insight everyone, I'm feeling a bit more confident now that the wheels will still be to my liking and won't stick out too far for my taste.

Now I just have to decide on which brand of level to go with!

There are a lot of us on here that use/used auto spring levels with no issues and they seem to be one of the least expensive choices.

So I finally got my 275/65/20 Duratracs and 20x9 +18 KMC Addicts, now all I have to do is decide on which AutoSpring level I want to go with.

I'm looking to get level, or just slightly less so as to avoid a nose-high look.

After looking at tons of pics, I'm torn between getting just an AS 1.5" OR AS 2" front and 2" rear block.

My nose is 1.75" lower than the rear.

Biggest issue I have with the decision is that people seem to get varying results with how much lift they actually net with the AS kits and I'm somewhere in between the 1.5" and 2"....

Thanks in advance for any input!

KPT2 - I've been checking out your build thread and noticed you originally had a 1.5" AS kit on, but your sig says 2" Autospring.

Did you switch from the 1.5" to the 2" front and 2" rear?

If so, can you let me know your thoughts on the two setups and how each affected the stance?

Thanks!

I did not switch. I bought a 1.5" for the 2009-2013. After some discussion with autospring and some measuring on my truck, it was determined the 1.5" 2013 kit lifts the 2014 2". It's actually even the same part number they use for their 2014 2" lift. I subsequently bought a 2" rear block to get some rake back.

I'm not able to edit the first post of my build thread, that's why there's the inconsistency.

I'm looking to purchase some 20x9 KMC Addicts +18mm offset. I'm not a fan of wheels that stick out past the fenders, so I'm a little wary since this is a wider rim than my stock 20" chrome XLT/XTR rims.

I will likely be going with a 275/65/20 Duratrac tire (stock width, 34" tall) to try to keep the tires tucked in and as close to stock as possible in terms of how much they poke out past the fenders. I've looked at as many pictures of +18 Addicts as I can find, but most have a much wider tire (eg. 305/55/20, 295/60/20) so it's difficult to tell exactly how much the wheel will stick out with a stock width tire.

So, will these rims stick out substantially more than stock? If yes, how much can I expect them to stick out? Will they be tossing debris all down the side of my truck?

Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated, you guys are all awesome, thanks in advance!

use this site, http://www.rimsntires.com/specspro.jsp, put in specs of your stock and new rims/tires, and it will tell you how much the new setup will stick out from stock...
