Wheel offset for stock height truck?
What offset are you guys running on a stock height 2wd truck? I plan to get a set of 20x9 to replace my factory 20's but I have 0 intention of leveling the front. If anything I might put a set of shackles to level the rear down. Seems a lot of guys run +18 but it seems they all have a level kit. Factory seems to be +44 so maybe a +25? Btw I am running 275/55-20 wild peak tires.

Ok yeah I don't want that for sure. I think the front sits pretty nice as it is with those tires. The wild peak even though they are the same size, are a bit wider then the factory bfg that they replaced. The rear could come out a little though.
if my math is correct the +25 will give me about an inch wider then factory.

Yeah but the math doesn't add up. The difference in stock to 25 is 19mm or roughly 3/4 inch, plus the added width of the rim which is 1/2 inch split inside to outside gives 1/4 wider nothing else changed. Add the 3/4 from the offset and it gives me 1" overall wider for the rim then factory. Going with 18 is just a tick over 1/4 wider. Mathmatically it works but actuality it doesn't always work... Haha
damn there isn't a lot of good options in the 25 and 30 range that's affordable..

If they are 8.5" wide, then your math is correct and the +25 will stick out 1" more than oem.

wait. what?
here you go.
for what it's worth I've got 20x9 +18 wheels and have a level and bigger tires but I'm quite certain I could still fit a 275/60 on this wheel at stock ride height and not have any issues.

The OEM wheels are 20x8.5 +44 with a BS of 6.48228.
25.4 mm equals one inch.
Going from +44 to +25 ET is a 19mm difference or 3/4". If it were mine and was given a choice between +18 or +25 wheel, I would get the +25 or wheel with greatest amount of positive offset to avoid potential of contact problems.
