Default Wheel Locks

Worth while or waste of money?

Deterrent to a thief, they will gladly skip over yours if it has them and hit the next that don't have them.

Hope so. Decent neighborhood, but I'd feel better about it if one of my neighbors had nice wheels too

Does anyone really steal wheels anymore? I remember when I was younger they did it, but just don't see it anymore.

Worthless can be removed as quick as a regular lug nut.
How do I know you ask?
I lost my key to the locks on my Mustang searched the internet and found out you just use a 12 point socket and hammer and it can be quickly removed.
Now not all are worthless but the ones with a solid housing can be removed like I stated

Hope not. They weren't cheap & doubt they'd be covered

McGard is a standard among oem. As mentioned they can be removed with the right tool so it's basically a way to keep an honest man honest. A thief will take it if they want it bad enough so make sure your comprehensive coverage is active.

I'd rather have them than not for the reason I posted before.

They are easily removed with a simple socket. Worthless.

OK, so I caved in. Amazon $24. Exactly 1% of my wheel cost & these look like they'd slow them down the most
