Default Wheel Damage

I have a 2010 king ranch with the stock 20 inch wheels. The wheels have curb rash and pitting all over them, most of them from the pervious owner. (who didnt own it very long at all btw) Today I went through a touch less car wash with the tracks the you drive into and I was a little off and scratched the s**t out of my back rim. Is there anyways to partially fix my wheels? I feel like these rims get banged up if you look at them wrong, the rims on my old Chevy look new when I sold it and they took beating.

Here's some of the damage to my wheels, there is other minor damage many other places as well. The last picture I used some touch up paint on, it looks better in the picture than in person. Anyone else want to post up pictures of wheel damage? I want to see if I'm the only one with this problem.

scuff the damaged part up, fill the damage with some glazing putty, sand it with some 240, shoot some high build primer, sand with 400-600 wet and spray some silver touch up paint on them.. my brothers Camaro with the 19 wheels had some bad curb rash on them so I sanded up with 120, applied my putty, sanded them up to 320 and them plastidipped the whole wheel.. no damage can be seen and the whole process took me an hour

Thanks for the info however I'd be scared to try this by myself. I wished you lived close to me, I would paid you to do it.

Do a web search. There are plenty of places that do wheel repair, some are mobile and will come to you. I don't know how much they run in your part of the country but I was quoted $125 per wheel to repair curb rash and repaint on my wife's car. Her wheels are pretty trashed, worse than yours, but 125 is a flat rate for cosmetic damage.

I think you should go for it man.. it looks like the damage is mostly around the wheel lip, u can mask off the main body of the wheel and just try your hand at body working the rashed lip. The challenge is just finding a color match for your wheel, once u found it, that wheel lip cannot look any worse if u think about it.. worst case scenario your sanding skills are god awful but at least your wheel wont have metal showing through after you paint it.. I think u got this man, piece of cake! don't put too much thought into it, just buy your supplies and go!

As stated above just do a google search and find some rim repair places. I'm fairly handy, but I shy away from body work so I had mine done by the pros. I slid into a ditch this winter in my FX4 and put some deep gouges into the driver side rims while spinning getting it out. I called up a shop and it was $125 a tire, the bill hurt for a little but when I look at my rims and can't even tell that anything ever happened it was worth every cent.
