Yep its a common issue. Battery management system can cause it to happen. Have you replaced the battery recently? How old is the current battery? If you follow the ground cable off of the battery itself there is a ring about 3 inches from the terminal with an electrical connection in it. If you disconnect it, it will allow the battery to be fully charged all the time and not let the management system take over. I used to get that message almost every day and even had Forscan shut down a few times to save battery (it requires a minimum 11.6V to run). Once I disconnected that, never an issue again.

Yep. Disconnect that connection. I would also check the fluid level in your battery and top it off if needed. Might want to put a battery tender on it and get it back to full charge. Lots of short, quick trips don't allow your battery to fully charge.

If the battery is older than 4 years it might be time to replace and as mentioned disconnect the battery sensor on the negative cable.

My original battery lasted less than four years, previous owner had already change it by the time I got the truck used.

Ive also had batteries only last 3-4 years in other vehicles recently. Just don't make'm like they used to.

Hmm odd, my original battery lasted me 7 years. Probably could have used it for another couple years too haha.

My OEM battery (bought my truck new) lasted less than a year, have had a Walmart battery in it ever since coming up on 4 years now. Batteries are best described as unpredictable.

That was my issue as well. Bought my 2013 new in August of 2013 and the battery lasted until fall of last year so just over 4 years. It started giving me the saving battery message and then suddenly I would get in the truck and the stereo would be off or the A/C would be off even when I would have had it on when I last been in the truck. It does all sorts of strange things to try and save battery. It still would crank over and start pretty easy but my commute is all of 10 miles and 20 minutes. Not much long trips. It slowly just got worse and I just had enough. No more issues after disconnecting "the ring".
