So the Platinum does not have 4x4 Low? Serious?

I was looking at the photos posted by the guy who just got the new 2013 Platinum and you can almost see his 4x4 selector in this shot:

That's exactly how mine looks. I can't say for sure but i would be very surprised if the 2012 platinums didn't have 4L

My 2012 lariat has 4a, 4h, 4l and locker.

I had no idea! I remember reading that AWD trucks will not have 4L. Is 4A the same as awd? Maybe I'm thinking of the harley davidson?

I've used 4wd once and it was indeed 4 low.

I would not give up 4 low for 4A personally.

And too many frickin buttons on the center stack.

I do like the ***** for climate control rather than buttons. I don't think the center stack looks that bad actually.

I agree, and the 2013 center stack looks better than the 2012.

I have a 2012 EB Lariat 4x4 offroad, the inclusion for 4x4 offroad is:
36 gal tank
slightly less ****ty shocks (replace em)
4A/H/L
3.73 rear differential
skid plates
side bars
and of course the part that adds the most bang for the buck, a pretty 4x4 Off Road decal.
