trust me, i wanted to use it as an excuse to swap in something different completley (like a 302 or a 4bt cummins), but i have too many projects. at least one needs to be a fairly stock rig for daily driver duty.

I still miss that truck, loved everything about it except the 4.6

Default What's the most miles you have gotten out of your F-150?

My father in law has a '02 F250 with the 5.4 and 390k on the original motor. My '12 5.0 F150 has just 43k on it right now and I'm planning on driving the wheels of it.

WoW! If I knew I could get 390k out of my 09 5.4 I'd definitely keep it lol! However I'm still leaning towards trading it in next spring/summer for a 2011+ I don't know how much trade in value I'll get for a 2009 with 147k miles.. well by the time of next spring/summer probably 165k-170k miles. lol. However I'm sure people have traded in trucks with much higher miles =z

None the less very impressive!

When I sold my 97 with the 4.6l motor in it it had 309k on it and still going strong! I hope my 2010 5.4 will do as well.
