I dont mind running low in town where there's a gas station every 2 blocks, but never again on a road trip.
Wow that's ballsy right there. When I am on a road trip I try and never go below a quarter or a tank. You never know when the next gas station is or if theirs an accident up ahead and traffic is stopped.

Why is that funny if it is true? Less weight in vehicle does = better mpg's.

I keep only half of my 36 gal tank full while in town, small town only 10-15 mile round trips. I only will up when I travel far. Keeping 18 gallons less equals around 108 less pounds to haul around.

I also wrench vehicles, and can confirm that fuel is the needed cooling for internal tank pumps. Good luck with listening to the lil voices in your head.

I agree. It's like they forgot what their mama taught them long ago. If you have nothing nice to say. Then say nothing at all. We live in a world full of inconsiderate a holes.

A few weeks after I got my new Limited I hit "0" miles to go between fill up and there wasn't a gas station around so I pulled over and got a ride to the nearest station.
