so no real answer about what my 2009 f 150 with gen 1 should be at. is your gen 1 version 3.2 is that a mytouch?

 

Being that your 2009 is a gen1 I do believe you can flash it up to a 3.2. The software will tell you when you start the process go or no go.

 

do you know where i can find version 3.2? on syncmyride i can't get any updates.

 

ive been wondering too about the 09's... it always says 2.1 for me too ive updated my sync once then it just stops? thats stupid...

 

If you have any warranty left, Perhaps you should see your dealer!

 

Dealer will not flash it... You won't get 3.2... And I am not sure if the '09s will get 3.1.

seems like the 09's are out of luck no more updates according to syncmyride. 2.1 is the latest. that sucks ford really screwed us on this one. i would love to take mine out and replace it with a factory newer one but don't think it will fit. that would be nice though.

 

whats new with the updates? anything worth actually doing it for?

 

I can confirm that for 2010 MY's the latest Sync version is indeed 3.1. I do not believe that there will be any further updates. The newer vehicles that have the My Touch have a completely different hardware set up so they have the latest SW versions.
