I replace them at $36 each and they break again. They are made so bad that just looking at them they break. Changed three last week and just gently moved one being so careful know they break and it broke!
Its there another better made one.

what are you doing to aim them exactly? punching them?

Ya man you gotta be punching them lol mine haven't broke on my last 2 an I'm always re aiming them... Maybe your installing them incorrectly or something

Assuming the break at the pivot points, why not try to put a little grease on them to lubricate it a little?

The little tiny tit piece of plastic that the covers swing on. That super small little cheap tit that's what breaks. they are installed correctly. two are slightly different angles also as I have become an expert at these. Two ford dealers parts dept where I got them said they break all the time. the tit is so small and just shears off. I guess its me as I owned many vehicles all my life and never once had to change one until I came across these. there is also an attachment that swings both to close at the same time that also breaks. I just replaced three and one is already broke and I've been so careful when touching them.
Guess there are no better replacements as I'm not having the best of luck with the ones I got.
