I have a challenger and an f150 and I get calls constantly from Sirius (I add the number to auto reject every time but they seem to have plenty of lines). The best offer they've given me recently is 24 bucks with no other fees for 6 months for one vehicle. I have zero interest in renewing.

At one time I might have considered it but one rep that called me had the nerve to say, "so is money a little tight right now or what?" when I declined. I came unglued on him and that was it for me.

Just renewed. Took 5 minutes. They made 3 offers & said no to all of them just wanted to cancel. Said my brother just renewed for $25 for 6 months and they offered the same.

Just renewed both of my vehicles at the $25.00 for six months. Called the 888 number, when the rep asked what Sirius could help me with, I pleasantly voiced well I'm either going to cancel both vehicles today or renew for the same deal I was given on my last renewal. She instantly replied yes we can do that.

Guys from a long term sales guy, give them the choice to make, state your expectations upfront, don't be rude, show some knowledge, then let them make the offer. You will win almost every time.

24 bucks for 6 months no other fees. I really like Sirius, but the sound quality is abysmal in my truck. The same stations sound great in my sister's Honda Pilot.

That is the exact same deal they just offered me. I called the advocacy team number 866-635-7541. The person who answered was American. I kindly said my 6-month promo service was up and I'd be willing to extend another 6 months at the same price, otherwise I'll be canceling. He immediately offered me this deal, so I took it. Didn't even have to say no one time. Best Sirius renewal experience I've ever had.

Plan on that in 6 months again myself. Still different opinions on which line to call - seems the retention number was better by some. When I called the number you did she wanted to know how I had gotten the number and didn't seem to care that I was going to cancel after 13 years. I was OK with it and cancelled, as reported I knew the better offers would show up. Best part was to sign up for the first 6 months I didn't even have to talk to any of them, did it online. I know I'll have to call from here on out. Congrats on the deal.

Since I bought my truck a few months ago they haven't let up on calling me. The third time, earlier this week, I just cut the guy off politely and said, "I don't have a lot of time, but if you can do 6 months for 25 bucks we have a deal, if not then I'm ok." No other bartering or BS. The truth is I would not have paid more and would be just fine without it. I think if they pick up on that tone and at the same time you aren't being impolite you will get what you want.

Man aint that the truth. I was complaining about that just today. It sounds like they are in a can or something. I really like Hair Nation and Ozzy's Boneyard and am considering keeping my subscription but I really hate the compressed sound of it.

I did just that...was very polite and stated what I was looking for and included the fact two friends had just got similar deals. Some guy who sounded like he weighed 800 lbs and couldn't breathe told me the best he could do was $96 for the year so I cancelled.

I had to do the same thing the last time I renewed. Three days after canceling, I got an email offering me the $25 6 month special with no reactivation fee.
