I believe mine is for the all access package, I get all the channels I want, if anything is missing I haven't noticed.

They need to heard the magic phrase "if I cannot get a better rate then I will cancel my plan" and that enables them to offer the $25/6 month plan. I haven't been declined yet, knock on wood. I think other departments don't have the power to offer this deal, you have to call this number and use the "secret" pass phrase.

I called 1 866 635 7541, post 738, this number has been listed in other posts as the Advocacy Team and used by others to accomplish what they wanted.

1.) told him I got the renewal notice of 409.00 for 2 cars and could not afford that;
2.) he said he could do 129 plus taxes and fees per car, I said I could not afford that;
3.) told him I was willing to renew at what I had previously paid, 168 for two cars, he said no;
4.) I asked for a supervisor, he said there was none;
5.) I asked if there was a better deal, he said no;
6.) he gave me my cancelation numbers.

The call taker was an American male. I have the call recorded, there was nothing exceptional about the call on either of our parts.

I want my XM back, $99/year all access, $10 for each additional receivers, no fees, renews at that rate and no games to play. $109/year +tax for two vehicles. competition was good.

It all went downhill fast after the merger. Now they want $130/year per receiver for all access, $25 per receiver activation fee, $3 per receiver fee, $2 paper billing. Now $318/year + tax for two vehicles. And every year you have to call them an play the "game" to get that rate again. Gotta love monopolies.

Same thing happened to me. I said cancel then. Three days after they shut it off, I got an email offering me 6 months for $24.99 with no activation fee. Their business savvy is definitely lacking.

Such a stupid system. I understand using low introductory pricing, but why do all of these companies screw the loyal customer? If DirecTV and Sirius treated their long standing customers as well as new customers, they'd have a MUCH better loyalty rate.

Reminds me of Ford! At this stage in our lives,my wife and I have worked too long and hard just to be screwed because we are older with money!

Bought our last Ford's and when the radios turn off on the 16th of March, no more Sirius hassles.

I have got this deal now since 2008! I call in and do the same thing every 5 months.

I pay 5 months @ $24.99 [Taxes +3.12 +2.39] = $30.50

Only once I have been cut off. I tell them the same thing. I will cancel unless you give me the same deal. Usually the 1st person says oh I can't do that. So I say okay cancel me. They transfer me to the next person that sometimes says the same thing and then 'gives in' or just says sure we will do that.

This is just for one radio. but I could do it for the other one as well.

I even posted on their facebook page about my attempt to renew, other than several likes, no response from them.

Their loss!

Please tell us which package and services are included for this rate if you will.

I've paid XM - now SiriusXM for years for service. I like what they offer in some old country music, etc. I traded trucks several years back and called to cancel because I no longer owned the radio I was paying for. To say the least I ended up more mad on that call than I've ever been with a company. I did cuss and yell - that was after 3 times they tried to get me to extend and offer me better deals to not cancel - the idiot on the phone couldn't understand the concept that I no longer owned the radio and I wasn't paying them any more money.

So since - I activated in another vehicle and have paid them for probably 13 years total - when my free 6 months runs on the new truck, or a few weeks before, I'm calling to cancel. I'll take one of the better deals if they offer, but I'm not begging and I'm not paying the prices I've paid in years past. I've played the game with Directv now for many years - call in with a better offer from a competitor and bam - 15 to 25 bucks cheaper each month for the next year.

Now that we have a monopoly here with SiriusXM I'll just tell them I'm happy streaming from my phone and unlimited data plan - and wait for the email to come in later.

After my second time of telling them no during the conversation however I'll be cussing at them again. I hate idiots that don't hear me the first time I say no. I know it's in their script they are reading from - but I'm tired of being the victim to corporate greed and stupidity.

The $25/six-months deal on my renewal is for the Select package... Which is fine by me. I only listen to about 10 different music channels anyway, a few of the news stations if I'm desperate, and an occasional NFL game.
