I called the advocacy line and didnt get grief at all. Told her I was currently paying way too much and she started with $99 for a year, and before she could even finish I said 24.99 for 6 months and she ok.

$20 for 5 months.

Just have to set a reminder to cancel before that date and go through the deal process again.

I just had to renew mine. I said I couldn't afford to pay the $125 or something like that for the next year and wanted to see if there was any deals. The first question they asked was if there are no deals will you still renew your current subscription. I said no. She came back after a few minutes and said there was only one deal for $90. I said no. I said my buddy just got a deal yesterday for $24.99 for 6 months. She said oh yeah I just found that deal. So I got it for $24.99.

I've been doing the 6 month for $30 deal. I juat had to renew it again last week & they tried to say that 6 months for 30 was no longer available but could do $100/ year. I said nope then cancel it & wouldn't you know it they could do the $30 for 6 months again. They tried the same stuff last time too...

They'd rather have less $$ than no $$ at all. I would imagine the *only* way they'd not offer the $30-ish anymore is if people didn't follow through with their intent to quit. If folks quit in droves they'd bring the offer back ASAP.

They wouldn't give it to me even after I said to shut her down. I was disconnected for three days and then got the $24.99 deal through an email.

I just did the $30.00 for six months also. After that expires I will try it again. If not available will cancel it but like the other posts have said Sirius will probably find something to give to you to keep you from cancelling..

I think the 5-6 month deal depends on what number you call. I renew this way every 5 or 6 months for years and have not been refused that deal yet. I always call 1-888-601-6302, which I think might be the retention department. You just have to tell them that if you can't get a better deal than you will have to cancel your subscription, they need you to say those words. In the past it was 5 months for $25 + tax and fees, about $30 total. This last time in October they gave me 6 months for the same price.
