What is this feature on my dash? Its just behind the key, next to the trailer brake control...

Definitely looks like it, but I don't have the auto heat and ac thing. But that was my thought as well.

I think that area is one of the most common threads with the exact same title.

Seems like "what is this" usually means that vented area.

Are you sure it's not a Guvmint bug?

It prolly is a temp sensor for ac and heat. I just don't know why its there when I don't have the auto setting on my truck. Seems like a dollar they would have saved...

mine previous 2011 XLT f150 didn`t have the auto climate, and still had the temp sensor, I`m not sure why ford puts them in.
