I gotta say I thought the manstep and pole were a joke. But if you are carrying something heavy in one arm, that step and pole come in handy.

Mine: AM radio!
I'm reasonably pleased with the features offered. In my mind Ford needs to focus on details beginning with the color pallet of interiors. Elegance begins with fewer colors and consistency. Some of Ford's color packages are seemingly driven more so by the need to differentiate trim packages from one another than by functional aesthetics and it shows.

Straining to find something that I believe could use a redesign I think the dash cubbies are of limited use and would like Ford to do them over like the Mercedes E-class or Lexus RX with a door that closes so whatever is put into them stays put and doesn't attract unwanted attention when parked.

I wish Ford would go to a high res camera on Navi models and a **** to zoom in and out of the Navi map like Nissan/Infinity (and while Ford is at it, they should consider offering a camera in front as an accessory). It is clear that the rearview camera shares the same resolution when on the rearview mirror or on the navi. When the low-res camera displays on the higher res navi screen everything looks like a YouTube video at 240—which is to say, fuzztastic. Ford should do better.

Anyway, the three things I think are fundamentally missing as basic features that would sell at high volume if they were offered as accessories are
  1. the lack of factory accessory HID headlights,
  2. an accessory 36 gallon or larger fuel tank in the EB,
  3. and heated steering wheels, a thing that should be required by law in cold states (and is offered in the Dodge and GMC trucks).

I find it odd that Ford still includes an ashtray and cigarette lighter.
People do still smoke. That said I think I would go with the "phone clip" made for what appears to be a late 90's model bar style cell phone in my center console.

I just quit in Feb so I would have been one to use it but nowadays it just seems outdated.

I like the idea of a high volume gas tank.... the dealer told me the bed size was the limiting factor... makes sense.

So far I vote for the change holder stuck in the dash.. in a word... tacky. But , like a good owner I put some change in there.... it rattled aroudn so much I took it all back out.

The change holder in the dash and the 2 cupholders in the back seat. Have never used either of them.
