What is your most USELESS feature?

Pg 284-5 states if you press the TC button for 5 seconds and are over 35 mph then roll over control becomes enabled, stability control is enabled with higher limits, and traction control has higher limits.
Professional drivers testing the trucks in winter weather found the higher limit settings saving them embarassment.
So sorry FoMoCo doesn't let you roll over at will.

Granted it may not be a problem for the average user, but for those of us who like to really drive, it sucks. Im not about to start pulling fuses and wiring in switches like some people have done, Ill live with it for now, but im not happy about it.

Dont trouble yourself on my account, its not that important. I think they are different though, thought i read something to that effect before. Seems like the 11 really does shut off more where as the 10 doesnt as much, forget the exact details though.

Wow, 2 midgets and you still make use of that feature. My wife is the same size as your wife, so our difference is considerably greater. We don't have that feature on the XLT, but I solve it by letting her drive every new vehicle all she wants at firwst, then I take it over by never washing it, throwing my garbage on the passenger floor, etc., to the point where whe just want to drive her own vehicle. If that doesn't work, I get some dents, and if I really have to ramp it up, I put some sexy bumper stickers on it, like "Follow Me For a Good Time". Soon, the truck is mine for good.....

"My thought is" that anybody that thinks the Ford traction control is worth a crap obviously has never taken the truck off the pavement. Try pulling out a stump or drive through a pile of snow or accelerate on a slippery wet patch of pavement. The wheels don't work as you want them to. The traction control overrides the driver far too often. I could live with the traction control if I could turn it off. But the effin FMC won't allow it. I know Syracuse, NY has more snow than Colorado and my F150 is a 2009.

Well, I had a 2005 Dodge Power Wagon in the mix, and it had front and rear ELD's, which didn't always kick in right away, but when they did, that truck was king of the hill at Hollister. Not to mention the factory 12K Warn winch, and the electronically controlled front sway bar. I'v'e bought 11 new Fords since 1997, and a few other new non-Ford vehicles that I considered special, like a Trans Am Firehawk, but the Power Wagon was hard to beat for sheer "get-out-of-trouble-in-a-disaster" scenarios of my polluted mind

You must not be a 2-fisted drinker. Some of you you younger folks may not remember that when I was a kid, there was a model of Caddy that offered, as a factory option, a bar in the glove box, with shot glasses, and service bottle.
Of course, we have SUCH a much better world now LOL

First Tiger of G.R.O.S.S.
I have an aftermarket one on the license plate... it is also useless when the gate is down.... it basically leaves you with just a view of pavement... useless for backing up and you can't tell where the end of the tailgate is.
