TPMS and Auto headlights...
****ing idiots that use auto headlights **** me off. They don't turn on early enough, they don't turn on when it's raining, they don't turn on when it's foggy out...so they're just driving around with no headlights because 'it's automatic, i don't have to have my headlights on if the truck doesn't think they need to be on.'
Idiots.

Zach - I haven't personally driven a newer GM or Toyota enough to figure out how to do it, but on my mom's 1999 Chevrolet Venture, you could force the lights out by removing the DRL fuse. The light switches would all still work, but the annoying automatic headlights would turn out.

Before all this auto headlight crap, you rarely ever saw people without their headlights on when it was needed. If they did, you could flash them and they would turn them on because they simply forgot to turn them on.
Now days, i would say 50% of cars do not turn their lights on in the rain and almost 100% of those cars are plenty new to have auto-headlights. They simply set it on auto and forget about it. Even when you flash them, they don't care because it's auto...

Ever notice that even when adjusted correctly, all fog lights do is reflect off of the fog and the glare makes it more difficult to discern what was already challenging? Better yet, the clown who thinks the extra light on a typical night is benefiting him, while nearly incapcitating oncoming traffic.
Turn 'em off and leave 'em off! You know you turned 'em on to show your coolness...

another thing- it would be great if the usb port was inside the center console on the fx4 and lariat flow through console. i hate having to unplug it and stick it in the console when i park the truck. i like things to stay hidden.

You wouldn't believe how many people I know who refused to turn on their headlights until it was 'dark' before automatic headlights came around because "i can still see the road." Excuses were silly - headlights cost too much, dash bulbs are hard to replace, headlights are for me to see the road, not for other drivers to see me.
Reminding them that the law actually said they had to turn them on just got dirty looks and whining about stupid laws and government BS and they'd drive however they wanted to drive anyway. One of them used to drive right down the center line on a 2 lane highway cause he "paid taxes for both sides of the road" just to give you an idea of how stubborn (and crazy) these people were.
On a related topic, here's my explanation for why you can't turn the automatic headlights off (and make them STAY off) on a GM vehicle - I make sure not to EVER say this anywhere near one of my friends with a GM vehicle - I think it's funny, but I've got a feeling they wouldn't think so
GM figured if you were dumb enough to buy a GM vehicle, you probably aren't smart enough to figure out when to use your headlights on your own, so GM makes that decision for you.

Quite possible, however this was never a problem before the advent of 'auto headilghts'.

Remember, even though they're newer cars, doesn't mean they have the auto headlight feature (My 2010 STX doesn't) and it doesn't mean they have the **** turned to have them on.
I know both our old 06 Freestar turned them on when the wipers came on, as does our 2011 Escape. I can't speak for other makes, as my old 06 Colorado had both auto headlights and DRL, so basically they were on all the time.
