Well decided against the new truck I ordered. I went and test drove a 2012 FX4 with the appearance package at another dealer that had the same exact setup as I ordered. I kept looking at the interior and the red stitching wasn't looking good to me at all. I just can't justify spending all that money on something I'm just not to sure about. I know i can get one without the apperance package but I have always wanted a super duty and i recently got promoted so I think I might start doing my home work on them. We will see.

Go with your gut! Nothing worse than regret or resentment. I think an F-150 will work out better for me. But I spent alot of time weighing out the two before ordering. I'm coming from a diesel and hoping to have no regrets. My hopes are high!

If you need a diesel, these 6.7's cannot be beat. I've been working for ford for 11 years, but always been a Chevy guy when it came to newer trucks. But Ford is now on top without a doubt IMO

Ordered 9/20, build date 12/10, arrived at dealer 12/22. Waiting on spray in bedliner, hopefully will be able to get next week. Maybe an after Christmas Present! At least I know it's here. It's hard knowing it's sitting at the dealer but can't pick it up yet.

Thought of waiting until the new year for (possibly) better incentives? I mean, a week for a thousand bucks possibly? Maybe more? It's a gamble though ....

It took almost two months for me to get a VIN and build date.

[QUOTE=83OZZY;1289398]Sweeet lookin truck! What size tires and lift?

Thank you! I put on a leveling kit with the 305/55/20 Nitto Trail Grappler MT's. I got my inspiration from KGSloan's truck. I was debating the Nittos or Duratracs. I'm happy I went with the Nittos. It was a good Christmas! Best gift to myself.

My truck is due to arrive later this week. I have a coupon that expires 1/3 along with the current incentives. Talk about a crap shoot!
