No I know what you meant. Painted plastic is fine by me as long as its quality. Just giving you a hard time lol

The fact that the bumper has absolutely no gab between the fender or headlight means that if you or someone bumps it hard enough you'll get into more repairs then just the bumper.

If more of these looks vs usability get through to the f150 you will end up with the avalanche or cadillac ext, a miserable failure in sales.
Have you looked at the pictures of the trucks in some of these threads? Do you think they have ever tied anything to it or hit something? I doubt it.

I drive in tow/haul 100% of the time. I would like to be able to program tow/haul as the default setting rather than hitting the button every time I start the truck.

As long as they keep steel bumpers I'll be happy. My mom's 08 Chevy is plastic and it's pretty weak whereas I hit a deer at 60 in mine and it barely bent back. Hell, I used a come-along to pull it back forward a bit because my new tires rubbed a bit.

Good thing that these people are not a majority of buyers of pick ups. If you want a polished truck with nice plastic bumpers get the sport ram, they have been a joke since they added coil springs to the rear and have a max payload of 1500 lbs when properly equipped.

I don't see the big deal. The plastic part of the bumper is already really close to the headlight. Besides the Harley trucks have bumper covers. And who the hell ties a rope around their bumper, instead of using the tow hooks?
