What would you buy next time around?

Wow lots of people hating on the '15 F150's! I personally love the new look but has to be at least an FX4 or higher trim levels, and levelled as well...the rake on those makes the new beefy front end look bad.

I don't really NEED a full size truck anymore, and I think they are getting kind of silly with how big they keep getting. I feel nuts sometimes cruising down the highway in my huge super crew all by myself, which is about 90% of the time. And there's just no connection to the drive anymore. Everything is just numb. My '07 super crew felt like a sports car in comparison. Next truck may be a Tacoma or Colorado/Canyon. Or not a truck at all. Maybe I'll give up having my full size pickup for truck stuff and my car for car stuff (currently a 2013 WRX) and get something that can handle both duties to a degree....like a BMW 3 series wagon.

Maybe a new Tacoma or GMC or RAM - in that order. RAM and Jeep scare me as far as quality goes, but maybe that is an unfair take on the newer stuff.
Think I'd look at the Frontier before that new Titan - man is it ugly.
Gotta be able to get in and out of the jobsites still.

Yeah, I feel your pain. I've been running f150's since 2000. Trading up every two to three years. This '14 I have has been a nightmare. I hate GM for all sorts of other reasons. However I do like the dodges. It's so hard to say, is it a case of the grass looking greener on the other side, then once you get there it's the same crap?
I just don't know. Right now I am looking at possibly trading in for a 3/4 tonne truck. They seem to still be built like trucks. Solid, rough and dependable. I don't need a 3/4 tonne really, but I do need a truck that I can rely on no matter what. Having a break down around here in the winter can cost you your life....and ford just doesn't seem to give a crap. "We fixed it under warranty and that's all we are required"....well F.U. too cause that's what you said the last 7 times!

Oooo a Custom Title.
As crazy as it sounds. I wouldn't buy a new car/truck, my 14 has been pissing me off with a shake that the dealers tell me it's normal. But yet my old *** 96 doesn't shake.
I'm at the point of just trade in the 14 and daily drive the 96 again.

I gave up on F150s street 97. That truck pissed me off from the first time I tried to tow anything with it till the tires disintegrated going down the road. Took till 2011 before I went back.
I like the looks of the dodges better but ecru MoPar I have owned started rusting away much to soon.
Chevys have always been ugly to me. I owned one simply because it was cheap. It was a great running truck till the engine crapped out at 205k of hard use. I still can't see myself buying one new.
Not a fan of the new F150 but it would rank higher than either Dodge or GM to me.
Japanese trucks do not factor into the equation for me, sorry.

2014 or newer Tundra Crew Max 4x4 with Off Road Package and add Leveling Kit and new tire and rims. I came from a 2011 Tundra to this f150. The Tundra is just as if not more capable in every way and much more reliable and better quality especially drive train. Looks damn nice leveled or lifted too.
