ive owned my 2014 for about 2 months and already have had problems, mainly the oil smell in the cab that im told theres no fix for. ive owned diesel trucks before the f150 and there almost too big to daily drive and im not snow plowing anymore. i had a tacoma that i loved, never any problems which is why i may go back and get a tundra when my lease is up. so next up i really like the gmc all terrain and the tundra trd pro. as much as i would love a raptor its just so expensive and id like to get away from the ecoboost

I'm going to run this truck into the dirt, and then hopefully Toyota has gotten the message and made a Tundra crew cab with 6.5 foot bed. I have a 4Runner, and it's an awesome vehicle. Plenty of room and very capable off road.

Thank you for posting this. I had no idea something like this was in the works. Say bubye ford as soon as this Nissan hits the dealers here in Canada.

That timing will be perfect, wait till spring when I get my tax return and voila! I typically shy away from first model years until the bugs get worked out. However it couldn't possibly be MOrE of a headache then the truck I got.

I've know some folks with older 4runners and they do great off road. Gas guzzling buggers that like to rust but they weren't meant to be econoboxes.

I haven't had to return to the dealer since I've had my truck, so I can't speak on that. However, when I had my cobra, it had to go to the shop several times for warranty work, and with the exception of a service writer whom I offended by assuming he wasn't a mechanic when explaining the issue with my car, it was great. But that was 10 yrs ago.

I think a euro truck would too. Even a Range Rover would be cool to look at. Just not own. Talk about warranty issues.
