Default What tuner for the 09-10?

What tuner worked out? I was in the market over a year ago but these things were new to our year models so I figured I'd give them time to develop. Does anyone have one installed on the 09-10? I'm in it for the speedo correction, throttle response correction mostly. I remember one guy ended up sending his sct back for a refund. And someone on the net will send custom tunes correct? I wonder where a place would dyno tune it for me.

Yes I did a search, but most were the last body style and can't find the old post I was on.

I went with a SCT that has VPM's custom maps. UPS Says it will be on my door step this evening. I sure hope I'm gonna be asking for a refund.

I also did it to get rid of the throttle hesitation and for more HP. i'll let you know how it goes tomorrow.

I have a 2010 4.6L 3v with a K&N and just had a magnaflow muffler put on today at lunch

Default VMP SCT Tuner

I'm very pleased. I did not get my truck dyno tuned but VMP provides custom maps with the SCT tuner for your setup. Dramatic improvment in throttle response and so far it feels like the torque curve really kicks in between 2500 and 3000 RPMs.

I've only put about 70 miles on it so far and its been a mix of interstate and around town driving. MPG seems to be good as well. The map i'm running is 87 Octane Performance. I'm gonna run a couple of tanks on this and then try the 87 Octane ecomony for a couple and then try the 91 Octane Performance.

Very happy with VMP's maps and the SCT
