Question What Tie Down System Do You Use?

I have a 2011 F150 Super Cab and frequently use it to haul all kinds of stuff and the 4 factory tie downs are almost useless most of the time.

That said are there any tie down kits out there that I can install in the bed of my truck to give me more tie down locations? If so could you provide manufacturer, part numbers(if possible) and vendors? Also if you have a system installed on your truck could you post pictures?

These d rings from Dodge work pretty well under the factory bed bolts. Just make sure the ring is pointed in the direction you want it when you tighten the bed bolt back down. They're like $4 each from a dealer.

That's a great idea! I guess I have another thing on my todo list this weekend.

My bed has the holes for the cargo management system. I tapped them and installed a mount I welded out of some steel. I took a piece of C channel and welded it to some flat bar. Drilled 2 holes in it and mounted it to the side of the bed where the tapped holes are. I made 4 of these and now I have 4 more tie down spots.

Get some Bull Ring bed rail cleats, The short bed involves using a router to make the holes in the bed pockets at all 4 corners. I have the 6.5 bed so all I had to do was remove the plastic plugs.
