Yeah I didnt even think about the taxes and whatnot, Ill defiantly need to check on those laws. I do have a guy that wanting to meet up today and buy my car for $6500 cash. But I have yet to make it to a dealership to look around, only online shopping. I went and talked to my credit union and they said they cant offer me a good APR because I havent been a customer for long enough yet, but they said I could always go to a dealership, see if they will finance me and then after a couple months of a ridiculous interest rate, refiance through my credit union. As long as Im not upside down on the car. Which would be difficult to do, especially with that lariat.

If the dealership really offers an internet price of $37k and I come in with $6500 down payment and only finance about $31k (ish) would it be worth paying those crazy interests for the time being, or just try to ride out my car for another 6 months and finance straight through the credit union? This would be the first car I would be financing and dont wanna jump the gun and end up screwing myself over no being patient for 6 months. Theres to many variables! STRESS!

No good, went to three different dealerships and all said the same thing.

That since I have no "car payment" history that there's nothing they can do unless I put $20k down, which sure as sh*t ain't happening. Finally found one salesmen who gave me some decent advice. That I should find a used car for about $25k and keep it for a year and build some "car payment history" then come back and could get whatever I want.

Guess ill wait till they redesign the ford again and get one then. But for now I'm gonna find a super fast car and have some fun for a year.

I went through the same stuff at your age. No credit, well then you can't have any credit. Rock, and a hard place. But, the guy did have some good advice. Can you say "Mustang GT".

Yeah. Can't get credit without having credit. But people don't give you credit because you don't have any. Stupid circle! But yeah, the y was like how about a used mustang 5.0.

I do like the mustangs, but a little tight for my likings. I have my eye on a 2011 Charger R/T. Fully loaded of course. But we shall see. Just sucks that you can make so much money and not buy what you want even if you can afford it. Oh well.

Maybe try getting an auto loan at where you bank? I'm 20 have had my job for 2 years, make very good money and was able to finance $41k at 4.9%. Never had an auto loan before either...
