I also have the 3.15 gears. I HATE them. I drove a buddy's 3.55 and it was better. I drove another buddy's 4.10's and it was just too deep. 1st gear was useless. Both trucks had 32 inch tires. Based on that, i ordered 3.73 gears and a yukon POSI unit. They are waiting to be installed.

3:15 With the smaller tires on the 2wd, doesnt the final ratio roughly equal a 4x4 with 3:31?

Where did you order the gears from?

3.55 in my 2012 Screw, wish I had got the 3.73 instead for towing.

I have 3.55's with 305/45 R22s and have a set of 3.73s here to install... But now really leaning towards 4.10s. I do some pulling (obviously looking in my sig).. Just not sure which way to go. I know it is pretty much a dog with the 33" tires now and the 3.55s..without pulling.

Any input is appreciated!

3.15 is more than low enough for towing with the ecoboost tourque and great for economy and longivty of drivetrain unless you are pulling at or above max load.
