Remember, you will have fees, doc stamps, and tax. In the State of Florida, I can write off the tax paid on a new vehicle, so if you buy up Nawth, call your accountant. Also, since my truck is over 5,000lbs, in Florida the vehicle is registered every December, rather than on my birth month. Also, I bought the 5 year interior protection warranty for $500. Why? My 2007 Lariat developed a a tear in the side of the seat 5 month out of the three year warranty. If I had the warranty package, I would have gotten a new seat.
How did you manage $8350 in rebates?

I thought Ford was only offering around $5250 right now?

Im sure these have all been asked and answered in the past. Just looking for real time data. Thank you to all that off help to this Newbie Im selling my Titan and moving on up to a F150

I am looking for the following and reaching out as far as Maryland and Texas....

4X4 Super Crew
V8 5.0 with 3.73 (Only) or
V8 6.2 with 3.55 or 3.73 (need towing capacity over 9000)
Sorry not interested in Ecoboost
Ruby Red preferred w/ Black Interior leather (but open)
Equipment Group 700A (Platinum)
Drop In Bedliner
Tailgate step would be nice

Dont care about moonroof or skid plates

Might entertain financing if it makes it cheaper

Any thoughts or suggestions on best price or how to go about it all...

Yes, of course entertain financing if it makes it cheaper. Quite a few people take out the FoMo Credit and then refi right away with their credit union.

This guy has an every day low price strategy. http://mackhaikford.com/

I'm not saying you should go to Texas to get your truck, but that's a reasonable bogey that your local dealer should be able to match within 500 bucks or so, anyway.

The Truecar web site gives you a pretty good idea of what you should expect.

You should expect a good price, but beating your brains in to save 300 bucks just isnt worth it.

I guess I "saved" at least 2,000 off msrp for my 150 XL. I put the word "saved" in quotes, because msrp is a meaningless figure, just like the stupid dealer window sticker adding an extra couple grand to the price is meaningless. The only price that matters is what a willing buyer and a willing seller will pay. Dial up truecar and shoot for something toward the left-hand side of the bell curve.

Sticker is $54,840

$4,750 in rebates - Breakdown given:

$2250 cash
$1000 Ford credit
$1500 Trade assist (told them I wasn't trading but he still snuck this in there, which is BS and wont stick of course
------------------

$43,305 Sale Price (so I'm guessing another $6785 was knocked off to get it to this)
$3058 Sales Tax
$995 Freight (??!!))
$499 Processing (??!!)
$350 Tags (High?)

$48,207 Out The Door

You better get the 6.2 if you want tow tow over 9k and move it well. I see you are anti Eco.... Not sure how the 6.2s are priced but the value leader is the run o the mill 5.0.

Truck Gal I bought my truck at Fairway Ford in Canfield Ohio last December when they were 25% off sticker. No trade I bought my truck outright for $37,300. Here is a ruby red screw at their dealership. Also they include a free plastic bed liner with a new truck.
