Yes! I really really wanted the 2008 Forester Sports XT with manual trans but they are so rare / expensive / and sell so fast I "settled" for the STi

The foresters are just so much more roomy inside and plenty fast for my needs

'83 Mustang GLX. It has a 5.0L with Edelbrock heads/intake, F303 cam and 16 psi from a 70mm turbo. The car weighs 2750 with me in it. It has traction issues.

My wife drives a G8 GT.

Man I wanted one of those G8's sooo bad when they came out...really gorgeous looking car! Best looking GM sedan ever IMO....sad part is it's not even american and it's the best looking GM sedan lol.

My other vehicle is a 2013 Scion FR-S whiteout 6 speed manual; it's the first car I have ever owned and it is a ton of fun.

It has been the best GM vehicle we've ever owned. It even does great in the winter with those snow tires on it.

I've been wanting to get one for myself, but they are still really expensive with low miles. Most are still around what we paid for hers brand new.

Thank you. Your wife still has good taste. I had a tear in my eye when my wife called me after her test drive in the ZL1 and said, "Don't laugh at me. I want one!" That was after her adamantly telling me no the day before. Now, when she drives it, she constantly talks about how fast it is. She was never into cars or power before. I think she's hooked now. There's a possibility that once your wife gets behind the wheel of a beast, she'll realize that the big motor and all that power isn't a "need", but rather it's just an exhilarating feeling. It may take a little while, but you can show her the way.
